The same compound from two vendors is not always the same stock. One batch arrived with testing included and cost you more; the next you can sell for less. Price this purchase separately on the purchase itself lets one batch carry its own selling prices.
Turn it on and a Selling Prices section appears for Retail, Friends & Family and Wholesale. A sale drawn from that batch quotes those prices instead of the compound's.
Leave a tier blank and it falls back to the compound's usual price, so you can override retail alone and leave the rest. This mirrors how cost already works: a purchase with no price of its own behaves exactly like a purchase with no cost of its own.
Your reseller rate stays per compound rather than per purchase, so a rep's price does not change batch to batch.
