Batches & Cap Signatures

This is one screen in PepStockApp StoreGoogle Play

A batch is one compound, one strength, from one vendor, in one cap — the thing a certificate actually certifies. The order is the group purchase it arrived in, and its number is what you write across every label in that delivery.

Every purchase of a compound is its own batch. Buy Retatrutide from the same vendor twice and that is two batches, each tested on its own.

What makes two batches different. The vendor, and the cap — its colour, whether it is solid or semi-transparent, the type (flip-off, lipped, smooth, textured) and whether the crimp is silver or copper. Any difference means a different factory run, so it needs its own certificate.

PepStock will never merge two different cap signatures for you, including when it tidies up duplicates. If you know two deliveries are genuinely the same run, join them yourself with Combine Products — that judgement is yours, not the app's.

Leaving something blank means not recorded, which is its own state. A batch with nothing recorded never counts as matching one that has been noted down.

Where you see it. Batches are labelled the same way everywhere — the compound and strength, a coloured dot for the cap, then the vendor and your order number:

Retatrutide 10mg · ● · Flip-off · Changsha · Order B-2607

Cap type and crimp are spelled out because a dot cannot show them: two vendors can send the same green cap in different types, and those are two different batches. A copper crimp is called out; silver is on nearly every vial, so naming it everywhere would bury the copper ones.

A cap colour a newer version knows and this one does not shows as a dashed ring rather than disappearing.
