If you sell ten and the batch you picked holds six, the other four come from the next batch by expiry date. PepStock shows you before you save — Draws from 2 batches, with how many from each — so you can change the quantity or the batch while it is still a cart.
The sale is then recorded as one line per batch. That is what lets each line carry what that batch actually cost you, and it is what puts the right certificate against the right stock. On the receipt those lines show the batch beside the product — "10 × Retatrutide 10 mg · Batch NX-0614" — but only when the same product appears more than once, so a receipt for an ordinary order looks exactly as it did.
Editing a past order works the same way. Raise the quantity beyond what its batch holds and it re-draws across batches rather than putting the whole order back on the one you first chose.
If your stock has moved and there is not enough stock to cover the order, the remainder is recorded with no batch rather than an invented one — an unnamed batch prints no certificate, which is honest; a named one would print a false one.
